点评：I visited Suicide Point in Kalpa with my family on 14 September 2026, and it turned out to be one of the most dramatic viewpoints of our entire trip. The spot is known for its sheer cliffs and dizzying drops, and seeing it in person was both scary and breathtaking. The vertical rock face above the viewpoint rises roughly 150–250 feet, while the drop below is an almost straight plunge of about 600–800 feet — a landscape that instantly explains the name “Suicide Point.”
There is no admission fee, and the viewpoint sits right along a busy mountain road, so it is important to stay cautious of passing vehicles while exploring the area. We spent about an hour at the spot, clicking photos and admiring the rugged terrain and sweeping valley views. The scenery is strikingly distinct — a mix of raw Himalayan drama and silent vastness that leaves a strong impression.
This viewpoint is best suited for adventurous travellers and those who enjoy dramatic landscapes. For anyone who is uncomfortable with heights or prefers gentler viewpoints, the sheer drop can feel overwhelming. For us, however, it was a memorable and visually stunning stop in Kalpa.
