常青逃脱旅游服务的点评
点评：We booked two private national park tours with Evergreen Escapes. Lindsay was our guide for Mount Rainier and Karen for North Cascades. They were both personable, knowledgeable, professional, fun, very accommodating and flexible. They have both spent many hours in these parks – and yet still seemed to be enjoying themselves – and excited to be there. Their enthusiasm was contagious!
We had a cloudy/foggy day in Mount Rainier, but Lindsay kept watching how the clouds were moving and guided us to places where we were able to catch glimpses of the mountain. He also noticed a group of people stopped on a trail in the distance. Even though we were not planning to go that way, he suggested it might be worth checking it out – and we were able to see a bear munching in the field a little ways off the trail. Great job by an Eagle Scout – lots of fun talking about anything and everything!
We had some smoky air in North Cascades due to the wildfires – took it really easy on our first hike with Karen. And then headed to other areas of the park that Karen thought would be less smoky. She even suggested driving a little further to Washington Pass – it took a little extra time, but had spectacular views – my favorite in the park! Karen was also able to point out smoky plumes from one of the newer wildfires – across Ross Lake – very interesting to see! Again, we enjoyed chatting with Karen on many different topics!
Kudos to Marjorie in the office as well – she was very responsive to all our questions prior to the tours – and offered some great suggestions for hikes that might be of interest to us!
The van was very comfortable. The lunches and cookies were over the top. The private tours were not cheap – but definitely worth it! Highly recommend this organization.
