Great spot for all wind sports
Tico Wind的点评
点评：On our recent trip to Costa Rica, we stayed two days on the west side of Lake Arenal. I missed windsurfing after not having done it in a very long time. Tico Wind has an ideal location for all wind sports, for all levels of experience. As a lake, the water conditions are more forgiving than open ocean, and there is a long line of shore to launch and exit from.
The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. They made sure I was set up for success from the beginning.
The highlight for us though was watching our 13 year old son and 15 year old daughter windsurf for the first time. Their coach spent the afternoon with them, including instructing them remotely out on the water via a headset built on to their helmets. They picked it up very quickly this way, and were even water starting (shallow) on their second day!
I would highly recommend coming to Tico for any wind sport, including kite surfing and wing foiling.
