Great views worth the effort.
冰川点观景点的点评
点评：Glacier Point Road is a twisty road off Wawona Road in Yosemite National Park. It averages about 45 mph. Allow at least two to three hours for getting there and returning. More time if you stay any length of time. Along the way is Bridal Veil Falls and views of the valley from parking lots by road tunnels.
The views are worth the effort. You can see Yosemite Valley from above. It's pretty self explanatory. You can choose to just walk to the view spot which is just a few yards from the parking lot, or walk uphill a few yards for a different view. After that, unless this is a "jumping off point" for a major hike, other than going to the visitors center, that's it. But it's worth the view.
The gift shop/visitors center/store is near the parking lot. Also primitive restrooms. I was there between 1 and 2 p.m., and it wasn't hard to find a parking spot.
In addition to the usual tourist things you can purchase, the visitors center also has premade sandwiches, drinks, ice cream bars and other food. No restaurant or sit down type of format. Just convenience store things.
