北村韩屋村的点评
点评：It is a beautiful area to visit in Seoul, especially if you enjoy traditional architecture, small streets, and a slower travel atmosphere. I visited during cherry blossom season, and the combination of hanok rooftops, narrow alleys, soft afternoon light, and falling petals made the area feel very memorable.
What I liked most was that Bukchon does not feel like a typical tourist attraction when you walk slowly. Yes, there are popular photo spots, but some of the best views are actually in the smaller corners — a quiet bench under cherry blossoms, a side street with hanok walls, or a simple view of flowers against the sky.
That said, visitors should be respectful. Bukchon is still a residential neighborhood, not just a photo location. Keep your voice low, avoid standing too long in front of private homes, and be mindful when taking photos.
I would recommend coming earlier in the day or in the late afternoon for better light and a calmer experience. It is easy to combine Bukchon with Anguk, Samcheong-dong, Gyeongbokgung Palace, or Changdeokgung Palace.
For me, Bukchon was not just about taking photos. It felt like seeing a softer, more lived-in side of Seoul, especially in spring.
