Rush Mountain Adventure Park的点评
点评：My wife and I flew out to South Dakota to visit my daughter and her family (a couple of teenagers). Though I had lived here on/off for 10 years I never visited Rushmore Cave (in this park) nor this adventure park. We had a great time. The cave tour is a must as it is very interesting, spacious and fun to go through. Our tour guide, Michael, seemed to enjoy his job and did a good job informing and entertaining us. The website information warns of a cool 56 temperature but it is also humid...so we wished we had not worn sweatshirts....you'd be fine in your outdoor clothes. The pathways are not overly challenging though some areas are slippery with uneven steps. Regardless, it is fun to see. The rides in the park were a lot of fun though if there's more than about 20 people in like for the zipline-type ride I'd avoid it...not that exciting. Save your time for the coaster...holy cow that is a hoot..you can build up a lot of speed. I managed to get a video with my GoPro (hand held); they don't allow cell phone use on the ride and if you're gonna bring a GoPro mount it to your chest or something. I managed to NOT drop mine. Bottom line this is a good half-day activity and the best value is the wristbands....they'll pay for themselves in 4 rides. (Recommend avoiding tourist season as I suspect it gets pretty crowded; we went in early September (Labor Day weekend) and it wasn't very crowded.)
