International Falconry Academy的点评
点评：Thanks to my husband, yesterday we, just the two of us, had an incredible visit to “The International Falconry Academy” in Live Oak, Florida. We met Miss Karen ‘Kitty’ Carroll, Master and Eagle Class Falconer in the early morning at her facility. She educated us on proper avian and bird care and allowed us to experience full-flight action with several birds in an outdoor aviary designed specifically for birds of prey. It was exhilarating to “catch” a bird of this size in flight. Looking into the eyes of these beautiful animals as they sit calmly on your gloved hand is amazing. We met barn and screech owls, Harris hawks, a golden eagle, and Lela, the red-tailed hawk. Her and her husband, Peter, own and raise several of these amazing birds. There are many opportunities for education in falconry through Kitty and Peter. Kitty made it very easy for us a first timers, do not hesitate to come.
