Strathy Point Lighthouse的点评
点评：Once again here I am to try and educate people who are clearly unable to read signs. When you come down the Strathy Point Road at the end you will find a turntable not a car park. There are two official big red signs saying “turning head no parking”. No you cannot just park whilst you walk down to the lighthouse because you think you are doing no harm. Someone else will see you parked there, they will also park there and before you know it there’s ten of you completely blocking a turntable and people’s access into their homes, fields and livestock pens. You will also see a private road no vehicle access sign because it is indeed a private road and no you can not drive down it. There is also a sign asking no dogs are taken down as it is unfenced cliffs and sheep are liable to panic and go over the edge. Your dog doesn’t scare sheep isn’t an excuse before news flash the sheep don’t know your dog is the worlds “friendliest” dog. It’s not on a sign up there but it should also be noted it’s clearly not an area to use as a public toilet or to dump your campervan waste :) Furthermore, driving up the road a little bit and driving onto common grazing hill ground is not acceptable either and will get you reported. The only official parking is 2.5 miles back up the road as you turn in from the main road. Hope this help and please have some respect, this is not your home.
