点评：We rented the Sun Odyssey 33i. The boat was in terrible shape.
It all started with us not being able to leave port because of some necessary repairs, which were carried out by a completely incompetent crew. I had to show them how to replace the jib roller. Then they replaced a lamp and the whole boat went dark. After 2 hours of randomly turning switches on and off, the electrical gremlins stopped after they found a blown fuse.
So then 3.5 hours after our rental was supposed to start, we could finally leave. This meant anchoring in the dark instead of enjoying the sundown at Elba. What I noticed under way, was that none of the instruments were working, except for the depth gauge and the GPS SOG. The chart plotter had no valid maps (not even outdated ones), which made navigating during the rain using only my phone a nightmare.
Once we arrived in Elba, the windlass unwound itself, almost causing us to lose the anchor chain. Even the outboard engine, after working flawlessly for 20 min, let us down, leaving us stranded far from our boat. Then after returning to the home base 2 days early because of a storm warning, we were even asked to pay for the stay at the home marina. During the storm the boat was leaking in many places, especially on the bunks, so we had to sleep in uncomfortable positions to not get water on our faces. On the last day of our rental, our batteries - eventhough plugged in all night - died on us, which meant we couldn't even leave the harbor. During all of this Pasquale was never available. Poor Brando tried his best to solve some of the problems, but there was always little he could do. In my opinion, this boat is not seaworthy. How it passed any inspection is beyond me. The price of the boat in comparison with its many faults is absolutely unacceptable. Furthermore, the customer assistance is non-existent. I'm very disappointed and will also ask for some of the money back from samboat.
