A very disappointing “experience”
Vamvakari Museum的点评
点评：We visited the Markos Vamvakaris Museum in Ano Syros, hoping to learn more about this important Syros-born artist and, most importantly, to introduce our child to his music and legacy. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed.
We first visited the so-called “Experience”, which was anything but an experience. Huge amounts of text made it extremely visitor-unfriendly, the information felt confusing and disconnected, and several interactive screens were not working. Most surprisingly, nowhere could we actually hear Markos Vamvakaris’ voice or his music! There was one point where visitors could select songs, but it was not working. The staff member was very polite and tried to fix it, but unfortunately couldn’t.
We then visited the nearby museum with his personal belongings, hoping for a better experience. Again, there was no music, no voice, and the information felt scattered, with little storytelling or clear flow.
A truly missed opportunity. Markos Vamvakaris is such an important part of Greek musical heritage, and a museum dedicated to him should bring his story and music to life, especially for younger generations.

这真是一个被浪费掉的良机啊。马尔科斯·瓦姆瓦卡里斯是希腊音乐遗产中极为重要的人物，为他设立的博物馆理应让他的生平与音乐鲜活起来，尤其是对年轻一代而言。
遗憾的是，我们的参观结果却恰恰相反。
