点评：We booked a horseback riding trip for 2 days with CBT. The weather was bad from the very start - cold, rainy, and muddy the entire time. There was no briefing or instruction of any kind upon arrival at the farm. Shortly after mounting, two of our horses bolted at full speed uncontrolled, and could only be stopped by chasing them down with a car. A few minutes later we had to cross a roughly 1-meter-deep, fast-flowing river without any experience whatsoever. At one point we were tied to the guide’s horse by rope - the rope cut painfully into my hip for the rest of the ride.
As the trail got muddier, my horse refused to keep working after about 2 hours - the guide’s response was to hit it very hard with a whip to force it to keep moving. Another horse slipped directly behind me. Later, the guide’s own horse slipped and didn’t want to get back up - the guide responded by hitting it repeatedly until it got up, after which it stood the rest of the time with one hoof held up.
The promised picnic and yurt camp never materialized. Given the condition and treatment of the horses and our own safety, we ended the tour after day 1. In a conversation afterward, the person in charge admitted she had booked us onto the wrong tour - which is concerning in itself - and promised us €100 in compensation out of the €880 we had paid. We still haven’t received it.
