点评：A charming old building that has been beautifully decorated in keeping with its history – very lovely! We stayed for one night while passing through. Our room was cosy, the bed was comfortable, and we had a beautiful view of the Göta Canal.
There is only one toilet on the same floor as the rooms (around 8–10 rooms share it). Additional toilets and showers are available in a separate service building in the courtyard.
The building is extremely poorly soundproofed. Our room was directly above the kitchen, so we could hear everything they were saying downstairs, although it became quiet around 11 pm. Some kind of fan or motor in the kitchen was also humming throughout the night. You could also hear quite a lot between the rooms if someone was talking or snoring.
We had a good but slightly expensive lunch when we arrived. Breakfast was quite basic. It is served from 8–10 am, and when we arrived at 8:40, several of the dishes were already empty and nothing was replenished during our breakfast. It felt a little stingy.
We rented bicycles (SEK 250 per bike/day) and cycled to Söderköping for dinner. It took about 25 minutes at a comfortable pace, and we definitely recommend it!
