点评:A Magical Hiking Destination for Youngsters and Anyone Young at Heart! A friend took me to this hike in Woodacre. Parking is free in a dirt pullout lot. We went in April 2026 in mild weather, and we were entirely in the shade of the redwoods. It's pretty majestic to hike amongst the tall trees. This definitely reminded me of Redwoods National Park. The fun of the hike are the portions where you step on the redwood stumps, hopscotch style. And there are redwood tree planks arranged in a zig-zag as well. We saw families with little kids who happily traversed this section of the trail, and they sure seemed to be on the lookout for fairies, nymphs, or whatever woodland fairytale creatures one might find. And this writer agrees with the youngsters' outlook - if magic is to be found, this is the trail you will find it on. You can take different trails in addition to the Loop Trail, so you can turn this from a 15-minute amble to something much longer. We hiked for about 90 minutes all told, including the Loop Trail. I am very glad we went here.
