点评：We visited Grand Canyon West on Monday 25th August 2026 just after three in the afternoon hoping to do the Skywalk plus visit Guano Point. We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm so understandably the Skywalk was closed. From the reviews we had read, Guano Point is seen as the real highlight of the site, so we decided to push on and do that. The advertised price was $67 per person, so $201 overall, but then taxes were added and the price was something like $240 in the end. For that we were allowed to board the shuttle bus for the four mile journey to and from Guano Point (we had no interest in visiting Eagle Point and the Native American village in the rain). Whichever way you cut it, that is a shocking price. We were close to walking away, but having driven two hours from Las Vegas to get there, we decided to allow ourselves to be fleeced simply so we could actually see something of the Grand Canyon. Now, having written all these negative comments it should be acknowledged how stunning Guano Point is. It affords fantastic views of the Canyon and we spent quite a lot of time there taking photographs and walking around the large area. We set off back to Las Vegas feeling pleased we had seen a wonderful section of the Grand Canyon, but still appalled by the extortionate charge. If ever there was a prime example of tourists being robbed blind and taken advantage of, it's this place. My recommendation: Guano Point is well worth a visit, but swallow your shock at, in effect, being mugged.
