Superb Mekong Delta Experience - not to be missed
Can Tho Touring with Susan的点评
点评：I can’t recommend this trip and stay enough!!!
From the moment I got in touch with Susan about her trips, she couldn’t be more helpful. We choose the 3D2N trip. We were picked up from our accommodation in Can Tho and taken to Susan’s home. The weather in the Mekong Delta had been very rainy and we were worried lots of the planned trip would be cancelled. It wasn’t and we dodged the rain and got to experience maybe a little piece of the rainy season.
Susan’s home is beautiful and her family super friendly and hospitable. Our room was great. We cycled around the first afternoon and went to so many places, temples, ate fruit along the way and sat with local people, visited the market to collect food. What was great is this is not touristy at all and feels very natural. This is Susan home and home town and she wants to share every part of it with you who was lovely.
We enjoyed fresh coconut, prepared and cooked food with some other guests and ate together.
The second day started with about an hours drive and again visiting so many interesting places from the lotus and Lilly pong, the VC camp, climbing through a small bunker, rowing down the narrow Mekong streams in an old VC boat. We then head a great lunch in Can Tho city, headed to Can Tao island and saw the fish farm, climbed over narrow bridges, ate fruit, made puffed rice. The day was just fantastic and hardly saw another tourist.
Our last day we ate and drank our way around the interesting floating market which was an experience not to be missed travelling by a small engine powered boat which became our mode of transport for the day as we paddled down a mangrove swamp, visited a cacao farm and local vegetable farms.
Finished the day off with a great lunch and then were dropped at the bus station. Susan booked our bus tickets for us.
The whole experience was truly memorable and unforgettable.

第二天，我们驱车约一小时，再次游览了许多有趣的地方，包括莲花池和百合池、越共营地，还爬过了一个小型碉堡，并乘坐一艘旧越共船只沿湄公河狭窄的支流划行。之后，我们在芹苴市享用了一顿丰盛的午餐，然后前往芹苴岛，参观了养鱼场，走过狭窄的桥梁，品尝了水果，还制作了爆米花。这一天真是太棒了，我们几乎没遇到其他游客。
最后一天，我们游览了热闹非凡的水上市场，体验了一番美食美酒。乘坐小型机动船穿梭于红树林沼泽之间，参观了可可种植园和当地蔬菜农场，这绝对是一次不容错过的体验。
午餐后，我们被送到汽车站。苏珊帮我们预订了车票。
整个旅程令人难忘，回味无穷。
