10/10 Cenote tour!!! — Quiet, Authentic, Unforgettable

点评：Our guide, Gil, spoke excellent English and was incredibly friendly and trustworthy! He's lived in the area since 1995 and knows the region and local community really well — he gave us such detailed explanations about the three cenotes we visited and everything around them. My wife and I went on the tour together, and it just so happened that we were the only two people on it, so it felt almost like a private tour, which was amazing. The cenotes themselves were, of course, stunningly beautiful, and since there were hardly any other tourists, we could take our time and really enjoy them. They may be smaller than the famous cenotes, but you get to experience three different types of cenotes, and with far fewer people than the well-known spots, you can enjoy the quiet, sacred atmosphere that cenotes are really about. The bike rides between them were never more than about 10 minutes, so it wasn't tiring at all, and we also got to enjoy cycling through the Mexican countryside along the way. I looked at a lot of other cenote tours on various sites, but the famous ones were all photos packed with crowds, which didn't really appeal to me. This tour, by contrast, is small-group, so you get to experience the quiet, sacred, authentic beauty of the cenotes — I can wholeheartedly recommend it!! Tips aren't included in the price, but after the tour, you'll definitely want to tip him.
