The gift shop/starting point to purchase tickets 5:
The merchandise is overpriced relying on uninformed patrons. The gold nuggets are selling for a 110% markup. Some panning kits are reasonably priced. One has to be very careful what they purchase.
The tour 5:
It was very informative. There's not much to see other than a few nuggets still in the rock. The tour depends on your guide. Ours was informative.
Panning for gold on site 7:
Reasonable priced and fun.
Paydirt 1: I purchased 2 five gallon buckets. The first one netted me 30 small light (almost dust like) pieces of gold. I also got a yellow piece of chipped paint as an insult.
It's such a shame that they threw in chipped yellow paint and seeded 30 specks of gold for a 5 gallon bucket.
