A Lovely Afternoon Lunch with Friends ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

点评：I met with friends here for a mid week lunch in August.
We parked on the Swimming Pool Car Park as it is free, and just a short walk, although there is some free parking on the street.
It was a lovely sunny day and although one of my friends had kindly booked a table inside the restaurant, we made a request to sit outside to enjoy the weather. The staff were courteous and kind and happily accommodated us when we chose an outside table with some shade from direct sun light.
The restaurant has lots of character and a very rustic feel.
We took some time ordering and a couple of my party made slight changes to the advertised dishes to suit their needs. The waitress and waiter who dealt with us were very courteous and kind and nothing was too much trouble.
The food arrived within reasonable time and everything was fresh, delicious and well presented . See my pictures.
It’s worth mentioning that the cakes here are delicious!
Upon leaving the eating area, one of my friends fell as she missed a step down from the table. It would be welcomed if this step could be made clearer for future guests, perhaps add a warning or paint a yellow line on the step.
Once again, the team showed concern and checked my friend was okay before bidding us goodbye.
All in all this was a very enjoyable afternoon, thank you.

工作人员再次表现出贴心与关怀，在向我们道别前还确认了我的朋友是否安好。
