Favorite Part of Our Niagara Trip
Lakeview Wine Co.的点评
点评：We visited Lakeview on the 4th of July after making several calls before our trip to Canada to reserve a vineyard, with no luck. First, Lakeview actually answered the phone, and second, they had availability for our group of nine, which included five children and four adults.
I am so happy Lakeview was the place we visited. It was such a wonderful experience. Our server, Michael, was an absolute angel. He was so kind to our kids and incredibly sweet and generous to us. I had to give him a big hug before we left.
The four of us did a wine tasting, and I loved how we marked our selections on a laminated menu (Long Island, NY vineyards need to start implementing this idea). Each of our four choices was served in the order we selected them. Michael made some excellent recommendations. His favorite wine ended up being my favorite as well, and I purchased a bottle to take home.
We also ordered the charcuterie board, which was delicious. We ended up ordering three rounds of the pretzel with cheese sauce because the kids enjoyed it so much.
We sat out front. There is also a beautiful indoor space and a lovely backyard seating area, but the front benches were the best fit for us with the kids. They were able to play ball and roll around on the grass while we relaxed and enjoyed a few glasses of wine.
The location is beautiful, and I am so glad the other wineries never answered our calls because it led us to Lakeview. Also, be sure to get the toffee chocolate. It is absolutely delicious. Most of all, our experience was as wonderful as it was because of Michael.
