Viewing Wolves and Bears, what a day and memory to last forever...

点评：We had a wonderful day with Laura Lyz, seeing the Wolves and Bears in YST, this past week (end of Aug.'26). I believe we were very fortunate with the cooler / rainy weather because sightings of the wolf pack had been absent the past five days. Laura and her colleagues were all genuinely helpful in using the spotting scopes/binoculars etc., and keeping us informed about the activity. A nice/quick lunch in the Lamar Valley while raining and watching Bison was also way too cool. All in, we managed to see maybe the entire Wolf Creek Wolf Pack (+video), one brown and black bear sighting each, mountain goat, Bison, and Elk. I shared our wolf video the next day with another park ranger, and he was genuinely impressed and told me how blessed we were to witness the pack. A shout-out to Rick McIntyre (pleased to meet you (briefly)), reading the book of Wolf 8 now. Again, thanks to Laura, all of your commentary was great and even more appreciated while reading the books. You have found yourself truly. Lee & Susie
