Dumped us in a remote mountain village

点评：Booked the Ruta de Cares tour with them for July 31. We were to be dropped at Cain and picked up at Poncebos after walking the trail. Unfortunately the trail was closed due to an accident. Vive Picos dropped us off in Cain and refused to accept any further responsibility for us. We obviously could not reach Poncebos and they said it was up to us to make our way back to Cangas de Onis from Cain, and at our own cost. They declined to send a vehicle for us. Never in my life have I experienced such shoddy behaviour from a tour operator. To abandon overseas tourists in a remote mountain village with limited facilities is shocking! They did help us book a taxi back, at our cost, but it was very stressful as we could only get a late booking for 19.00 and there was no surety that the driver would turn up. We sat around for hours waiting for the cab to come. I’m being polite here, but honestly no language would be strong enough to describe them. They clearly are unprofessional and have no ethics.
