Located right in the heart of Sea Point, it's an excellent indoor food and lifestyle market that combines casual dining, bars and entertainment under one roof. The location is convenient, particularly if you're staying around Sea Point, Green Point or the Waterfront.
What makes Mojo Market special is the atmosphere. It's lively, colourful and full of energy without feeling overly formal or pretentious. There's a great mix of locals and tourists, and the entire place has that wonderfully relaxed Cape Town vibe.
The food selection is superb! With numerous independent food kiosks offering different cuisines, there's genuinely something for everyone. It's particularly convenient when you're visiting with a group and nobody can agree on what to eat. Everyone can order whatever they fancy and enjoy their meals together.
The drinks are another highlight. There's a good selection available at fairly reasonable prices, which is refreshing considering how popular the place is. You can comfortably spend an evening here without feeling that every round of drinks requires a financial discussion!
We visited at night and found the market to be a very comfortable and welcoming environment. The lively atmosphere, variety of food options and general energy of the place make it an excellent evening destination.
Street-side parking is available nearby, although I would personally recommend taking an Uber if you're visiting later in the evening. It's convenient, saves the hassle of finding parking and means you can enjoy a few drinks without worrying about driving.
From a value-for-money perspective, Mojo Market is excellent. There's no need for an expensive fine-dining experience to have a memorable evening in Cape Town, and this place proves exactly that.
