Absolutely incredible—so much to see and do!

点评：A brilliant, informative gem right on the channelside! We spent 3 hours here but easily could have stayed longer because it was so interesting.
It is fantastic for families. There is a great outdoor play area for younger ones and an engaging quiz to keep older children entertained. The museum itself features amazing realia, and the large ship and submarine models were simply stunning with incredible attention to detail. We also loved the fascinating photographic exhibition about the cockling and shrimping history of nearby Morecambe Bay.
Amazingly, admission is completely free (though donations are possible) and the staff are not just friendly but incredibly knowledgeable about the local history. There is also a lovely, short accessible walk right alongside the water just outside. Highly recommended for all ages!
