点评：Super easy to get to from the Cantonments area, which I really liked, and there’s a lot nearby if you’re trying to visit a few different spots in one day. For my full review and to see how the photos actually came out, check out @travelnistaonthemove on Instagram & TikTok.
I’d recommend going in the early afternoon, but honestly, 1–2 hours before sunset is when it looks the best. Wait times can be different depending on when you go, so just be patient. If you’re taking photos, especially by yourself, don’t be afraid to politely ask people to move out of your shot. Most people are pretty understanding. A tripod is also helpful if you’re solo, or you can ask another visitor or even one of the nearby vendors to take your photo.
The vendors with flags are great if you want to add something to your photos; just remember to tip them! I also noticed quite a few people come here for professional photos, and when photographers were respectful and organized, everyone was pretty good about giving them space.
The side where traffic first turns in has the best angle in my opinion. The other side doesn’t get as much sunlight and just doesn’t look quite the same in photos. It’s such an iconic spot and definitely worth seeing in person. The experience was great, the photos turned out so good, and I’d definitely recommend adding this to your Accra itinerary.
