点评：I have frequented Lagoon Bar quite often over the last five years when visiting Ipsos. It’s a great bar if you like sport, as there’s usually a TV showing some kind of game. I mainly go because the cocktails are reasonably priced and, importantly, actually contain plenty of alcohol!
The man who works in the evenings isn’t particularly smiley, but that never put me off going — unless there was football on the telly. I hate football!
I much prefer going during the day when Denise is working, because she’s great fun and always stops for a chat when she has time. Even though she’s lived here for many years, she still has her lovely Newcastle accent. I really like her sense of humour and appreciate her taking the time to chat with us.
For some reason, we often seem to leave there feeling rather tipsy. 😎
A lovely little bar, good-value cocktails and, when Denise is there, plenty of laughs. What’s not to like?
