点评：My husband and I booked with Above Safaris to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation. Carrie put together an incredible itinerary that combined a safari, a Maasai cultural immersion, and a Mt. Meru trekking trip, all seamlessly organized from start to finish.
We spent two days on safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro, and our guide made the experience truly magical. With 20 years of experience, his knowledge of the animals and the ecosystem was outstanding, but what really stood out was how much fun he made it - he took wonderful care of us while keeping the whole day lighthearted and fun. Carrie also nailed every hotel and lodge recommendation along the way, which made the logistics of the trip completely stress-free.
One of the true highlights of the trip was the overnight camping experience with a Maasai village that Carrie arranged. We spent hours with the community, and learned so much about their traditions. The village was beautiful and we felt genuinely welcomed. Camping under the stars after enjoying a delicious meal prepared by our amazing chef was an experience we'll never forget.
The final leg of our trip was a 4-day trek up Mt. Meru, and it was the absolute highlight for me personally. Our team of fantastic porters, an excellent chef, and an amazing guide, made a genuinely tough climb feel completely manageable. I'd never hiked in the dark or summited anything before, and I was nervous going in, but our guide talked me through every step and kept me calm and confident. Watching the sunrise over Mt. Kilimanjaro from the summit of Mt. Meru was one of the most special moments of my life. It was hard, but 100% worth it!!!
I can’t recommend Above Safaris enough. We had the very best trip and we have Carrie to thank for that!! Don’t book your trip with some internationally owned mega safari company, go with Above Safaris.
