Vietnamese art at it's best
Da Nang Fine Arts Museum的点评
点评：Wow! What a great museum. I wasn't really expecting much. There are a few sculptures in front of the building and a large piece in the foyer.
The ground floor was closed for a re hang.
The works are really varied and interesting. Many different techniques including watercolour, silk paintings, oils, enamel, wood and stone carvings, metal sculptures, lacquer, inlaid Mother of Pearl, textiles, woodcuts and graphic design.
Different eras are represented and the Vietnam war is told in the best way possible through a war artist.
There is some traditional folk art too.
Information is in Vietnamese and English. Entry fee is 40,000 dong.
There is a visitors book for comments.
There are toilets on each floor.
My two negative comments are there a lot of stairs if you are disabled or older and NO LIFT. It was very difficult for me to climb the stairs.
The information says there are drinks available in the cafe. You are not allowed to take a drink inside Unfortunately the staff were sat outside looking at their phone and told me it was closed.
I was there for 3 hours and looking forward to a drink! Not good.
Why not play some chilled music, served snacks and put a board out for the public to use the cafe?
Sadly there is no gift shop.
Altogether I highly recommend the art.

我要提的两点不足之处是：对于行动不便或年事已高的人来说，楼梯实在太多，而且没有电梯。对我来说爬楼梯非常困难。
说明中提到咖啡厅提供饮料。不允许在店内饮酒。遗憾的是，工作人员都坐在外面玩手机，还告诉我店里已经关门了。我在那里待了3个小时，满心期待能喝上一杯！真是糟糕。为什么不放些轻松的音乐、提供些小点心，再放一块告示牌供顾客使用咖啡馆呢？可惜这里没有礼品店。总的来说，我极力推荐这里的艺术品。
