点评：When planning our bespoke private guide/self drive trip to Scotland in early September, 2025, Archie, of Uniquely Scotland suggested we might plan a visit to Old Leckie Farm. And we are so glad we did! It was our first day travelling outside of Edinburgh into the beautiful countryside. The lovely Alison provided us with an interesting, informative, current and historical view of farming on the 18th century steading.
After our amazing tour, where we met our first Highland cows face to face, Alison invited us into her historic home, into a stone walled dining cellar with twinkle lights, where we enjoyed homemade pancakes and tea and coffee. Honestly, we could have visited there all afternoon, we were made to feel so very welcome. When it was time to leave, we felt we were saying goodbye to a friend.
While we were a couple, this would be an awesome experience for children, as well. You must go to Old Leckie Farm!
