Newtown Theatre的点评
点评：We love the ambience and nostalgic feel of the Newtown Theater, which has stood, in one form or another, since the 19th century. As a movie emporium, it "only" exists since the dawn of the 1900's.
We've been going for films, concerts, and plays since moving to the area in the 1989's.
The seats, while lacking modern-day legroom (as do most older Broadway theaters), have been updated with comfortable cushioning and the technology, screen, etc., as well as the ever-important restrooms, have all been modernized.
We recently attended an EAGLES tribute concert, which was very enjoyable, led by the very talented Rick Wrigley, as well as a concert by RUNA, a Celtic-influenced group of skilled musicians with a charismatic lead singer.
The sound at both concerts was clear and crisp.
A terrific venue in a lovely small town.
