Please, please report this place and raise concerns about the welfare of the animals being kept here.
I witnessed an Asian palm civet pacing backwards and forwards continuously for around **8 minutes without stopping** while I stood watching. The repetitive pacing was extremely concerning to witness, and the animal appeared visibly distressed and unsettled.
It was alone inside an enclosure, and watching it repeatedly pace for such a prolonged period was genuinely heartbreaking. My partner and I were so upset by what we saw that we had to leave.
I have attached photographs as evidence of what I witnessed. I strongly believe this animal’s welfare needs to be investigated by the appropriate authorities, and I hope the relevant animal welfare organisation will assess its living conditions and wellbeing as soon as possible.
Animals deserve proper care, appropriate environments and the opportunity to behave naturally. I sincerely hope this animal is properly assessed and, if necessary, removed from these conditions.
