Worth the visit!
St. Martin's Cathedral Domkerk的点评
点评：You can't miss the Domkerk in Utrecht as it's tower imposes over the city (making it easy to find!). It's well worth the visit; both the exterior and the interior are full of gorgeous details. Interestingly, the church is sort of cut in half...the tower stands alone, and the rest of the church stands separate, due to bombing. This makes for a very interesting scene.
The interior has many interesting architectural details. There is also an exhibit about the phases of the Cathedral's construction and history that was very informative and included English translation.
The courtyard of the church is gorgeous and well worth a visit; it's a lovely place to do some writing, reading, or contemplation, though on the day of my visit it was a bit marred by a very loud guitarist and singer (who thought she was much more talented than she actually was, haha).
Well worth your time when in Utrecht.
