点评：As big fans of the BBC series Merlin, we were excited to visit the real Camelot, and came twice during our holiday! The château was amazing and had lots to see. While we found the audio guide a bit trite, it did help to explain the construction process of the château. If you’re interested in history, I’d recommend doing some reading beforehand, as the château’s information focuses a lot on Viollet-le-Duc only. The architecture was stunning, although we were disappointed that la salle des Preuses (which we were really looking forward to seeing!) was closed for renovations. Make sure to leave lots of time to explore. If you pre-book tickets, note that they’re valid for a year but for only one visit - we mistakenly thought you could use them multiple times within the year, so had to purchase tickets again for our second visit.
