An Exceptional Stay at Kielder Waterside Park – Outstanding Hospitality, Food & Service

点评：We recently spent an incredibly enjoyable and productive week at Kielder Waterside Park, from Sunday 6th to Friday 11th September, while running the prestigious King’s Silver Medal Programme for some of the very best apprentices in the UK maritime industry.
Having organised and delivered this programme for many years, we have stayed at a number of different venues, and our experience at Kielder was genuinely first class. The setting is fantastic, but what really made our stay so enjoyable was the quality of the hospitality, food and, above all, the wonderful people who looked after us throughout the week.
A very special mention must go to TJ, the chef, who provided fabulous food throughout our stay. Everything was beautifully prepared, plentiful and delicious, and TJ pulled out all the stops on Wednesday when we welcomed around 15 visiting guests from the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights to join both the 19 contestants and 12 tutors. The fantastic buffet lunch he produced was superb and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. A huge thank you, TJ — your hard work and culinary skills were very much appreciated.
We would also like to give a massive thank you to Vel and Charlie, who looked after us so wonderfully throughout the week. From breakfast through to lunch and dinner, they were always attentive, friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that everything was just right.
Their customer service skills were exceptional. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and they consistently greeted us with a smile and a genuinely warm and welcoming attitude. They are a real credit to Kielder Waterside Park.
Management should be justifiably proud of them both — well done, guys, you were brilliant!
Thank you, TJ, Vel, Charlie and the wider Waterside Park team for helping to make our stay such a complete delight. You played a significant part in making an important week for our young maritime professionals such a memorable and successful one.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kielder Waterside Park and look forward to returning in the future, i.e next September.
