Best two days of my Thailand experience, hands down!

点评：I spent two nights at Chai Lai Orchid and did the full day Elephant Jungle Expedition the day I arrived.
The experience was absolutely incredible! 10/10! It is a surreal place, surrounded by lush jungle and majestic elephants. Every moment is a treasure I will keep forever in my heart and memory.
The entire experience was epic. From the arrival, being greeted by a momma elephant and her two babies, to the action packed but perfectly paced full day tour with the most gracious and knowledgeable Karen guide, Hua (who also cooked the most delicious traditional lunch), to the nightly elephant happy hours with delectable food and beverage choices and endless photo opportunities, to the intimate moments spent with the elephants during the daily elephant room service breakfast sessions, to the surprisingly social nature of the property, to the stunning views from every angle in this jungle/river/village/agricultural setting, to the good feeling I get to carry away with me knowing my decision to spend my travel dollars at Chai Lai Orchid is directly supporting the wonderful treatment of these rescued elephants, the lovely Karen village and the social enterprise, Daughters Rising, which is affiliated with the sanctuary. This was an all around top tier vacation moment. I would highly recommend Chai Lai Orchid if you are looking for a truly ethical, immersive elephant experience while visiting Chang Mai. Stay the night and do the full day experience, you will not regret it!
