Sarandë的点评
点评：Sarandè is a busy busy place but worth a visit, we stayed 5 nights and moved round to Ksamil.
The city is crammed with restaurants and bars which are all of reasonable price. Most bars have a happy hour about 7pm. The restaurants are plentiful and there are budgets and choice for everyone. The house wine is an Albanian wine used in most restaurants and is delicious and amazing value for money. The beers are also very reasonable.
The beaches are packed and most beachfront hotels have thier own sunbeds. Most hotels are very small and don't have a pool so if a pool is important to you make sure you use your filter when researching hotels.
Using ATMs ....you get charged every time you withdraw money some charge 600 lek £5 some are 800l lek £7 I'd advise to draw out a lump sum so you pay one fee. Most establishments prefer cash to card and you will also be charged a fee by them to use a card.
Be careful of the taxis ,the hotels will tell you how much your journey should be prior to your booking but they often add on 10 or 15 euros. Bit cheeky...don't be afraid to challenge them.
I would definitely go back to this beautifully crazy place but would like to explore further round the island but I fell straight into the tourist trap of booking Sarandè and Ksamil.
