点评：I had my first reading ever by Marla Chirnside and was not disappointed. I went to Cassadaga not knowing what to expect, with a curious mind, and a hidden sadness. For a long time now I have read about people's ability to tap into a higher consciousness and/or spiritual realm but have maintained a skeptical view. Mostly out of caution of being gullible. When the kind lady (Linda) in the bookstore patiently explained to me what a medium does and the type of things discovered in a reading, I knew I had to try it. If anything I would have a story to talk about. I saw Marla's name on the board of available mediums and something about her vibed with me, so I contacted her. I met her for the reading and felt like I was talking to a friendly neighbor. She politely asked me for my name and that I don't say anything further until the reading began. Her method of reading seems unique to her in that she has an index of images that reference statements. As an image comes through she portrays what that image generally means. However, on occasion she would get unique images/messages that certainly were relevant and personal. As an example she had a vision of a train with billowing smoke going down a track and of the train engineer changing his hat for another. My mom had just been on a scenic train tour and I commonly say how I "wear a lot of hats" in my career. I would normally say it was just drawing conclusions but it immediately struck me as personal and accurate. I don't know how to explain it as it is something you have to experience for yourself. Again I was slightly skeptical going in to it. Afterwards I left feeling very uplifted and happy. A day later and this uplifted feeling still remains. Thank you Marla for opening my mind to the intuitive skills and for unknowingly pulling me out of the sadness I was quietly dealing with.
