点评：I had a frustrating experience at the Bird Cage Theatre ghost tour that I think management should seriously look at.
I was told I couldn’t purchase a ticket because I was a man by myself and the guide was a woman, and the tour involves the lights being turned off. I understand that safety is important, but the way this policy is handled feels unfair and poorly designed.
What made it worse is that I was told it was “very likely” more people would show up later, but I still wasn’t allowed to buy a ticket in advance. That meant I was turned away not because the tour was full or unavailable, but because of a blanket rule based on gender.
There are better ways to handle this: – Require a minimum of two guests before running the tour
– Have two staff members present
– Allow ticket purchase with the understanding that the tour runs when a group forms
Instead, I was denied service in a way that felt discriminatory and frustrating.
I’m sure the tour itself is great, but this policy (mainly how it’s communicated) takes away from the experience and may discourage solo travelers from coming back.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the experience for future guests.
