大峡谷南缘的点评
点评：We visited on our own with no tour. We arrived around 5:30 in the evening and paid our fee at a machine which was easy enough. Then we drove for a bit to actually reach the southern rim. As we arrived later in the day, there were plenty of parking spots available and it wasn’t even crowded either. The signage was pretty clear and we had no problem navigating around the park. Though we were there later, several gift shops and the bathrooms were still welcoming and open. I believe the main visitor center was closed and the staff that you usually pay your fee to wasn’t there and that was all we were missing, which we didn’t mind at all. We wanted to explore on our own rather than take a full tour. There were many places to look at and explore. We got some amazing pictures. When it was time to leave, on the way out of the park, there were several additional places to stop to see the Grand Canyon more. We were lucky to be there at sunset, which was so special and beautiful! If you’re not wanting a tour, I’d highly advise being there around sunset! The Canyon is truly amazing and no photos or videos can ever do it justice.
