点评:I have mixed feelings about it. If you've never been on an incline railway before and/or love railcars, it's worth checking out. I suppose it's good for families, but it's pricey. Round trip tickets are $25 for adults and $13 for kids.
It's a 10 minute smooth ride each way, but it's so slow, you hardly even notice the 73% steep incline.
There are plenty of windows on the sides and top of the car, but the trees block the views on the lower part of the track.
I wouldn't say it's a must do, but it's close to Chattanooga if you have a car. However, there really isn't anything else in the walkable area.
I recommend arriving just before opening on a weekday to avoid the long lines that form at the bottom and the top (which you can drive up to, instead).
*Note: You do need to pay for parking with a credit card at the parking kiosk and then place the printed receipt on your dashboard. I think it was $10.
