点评:The park employee (an older man) at the visitor’s center was very rude. We were visiting with our one year old and asked what we could do with fewer stairs; we knew we’d be limited but weren’t sure about the best routes. The park employee was rude, sarcastic, and unhelpful. He didn’t even mention the shuttle bus available to take you to an area to access the trail while skipping a lot of stairs. A friend told me about the shuttle later.
If you park at the top parking lot or take a shuttle, you can walk through the gorge and see one of the waterfalls with relatively few stairs (a flight or two). Don’t take a stroller, it’ll just slow you down, and the path is too narrow for it anyway.
Sadly, the path and viewing area by the visitor’s center (which is stroller accessible) is under construction - according to the park employee, I “should have read that” on the park website. His rudeness really put a damper on an otherwise nice visit.
