点评：We decided to visit here on a week day during the school Summer holidays. After looking at the website I emailed to ask if I could reserve both a mobility scooter and a disabled parking space for my Mum. Showing excellent customer service I had a very prompt reply saying that these two things would be sorted for us. On arrival we found our disabled parking space (as the position had been described in the email) and located the scooter.
We had an extremely enjoyable day and spent just over an hour exploring the gardens before the most delicious lunch in the cafe. This was very reasonably priced. We then had another hour or so looking round the rest of the beautiful gardens. We had an ice cream and a quick look around the gift shop.
Every single member of staff who we cake into contact with was friendly, polite and helpful.
I would throughly recommend Barnsdale Gardens for an enjoyable (and informative) day out. Some might say that £16 per person admission was expensive but I think it was worth every penny. U18’s are free.
