点评：I highly recommend this tour company. I arrived in Yogyakarta with only 3 days of time and with no itinerary. I decided to walk to the location of this tour outlet rather than book online. I was met by the owner, Yudi, and his wife (who both speak near-native English.) Yudi informed me that the physical location is no longer there and has since become a donut shop (which is delicious if you’re looking for something sweet!). He helped me figure out which activities would best suit my interests in Yogyakarta and, even though it was already late, was able to get me booked for two different tours.
I arrived during the shoulder season and was initially hoping to join a group tour, but because there aren’t as many tourists during this time of year, a group tour simply wasn’t possible. Nevertheless, Yudi offered me a great discount and personally guided me on both tours. That experience alone was worth its weight in gold.
Not only was I able to experience everything without having to wait for other people, but I also had a personal guide who happily answered all of my questions about Indonesian culture and gave me some stellar recommendations for food and activities to enjoy when I wasn’t on tour. He even created a personalized itinerary for me to follow after leaving Yogyakarta.
During my tours I got to see what other your guides and groups were like and I can confidently say that: If you’re someone who is looking for culture, adventure, and kindness, it would be a mistake not to book with Yudi’s tour company. I’m now leaving Yogyakarta feeling more prepared, cultured, and equipped with a lot more Bahasa Indonesia and Javanese words to use throughout the rest of my trip. Most importantly, I now have a friend here in Yogyakarta whom I look forward to seeing again when I return!
