Great beach club, but watch where you look…
Beach Club Portopiccolo的点评
点评：We spent the day at Portopiccolo Beach Club at the Main Pool to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and up until one incident, it was everything we hoped for. The loungers (€150) were excellent, right by a stunning sea view, and we spent another €70 on food and drinks, which was good. Staff were attentive throughout the day and repeatedly checked in on us. It wasn’t crowded, which made it feel even more special.
Then the Main Pool lifeguard walked over and asked me, in English, if I was trying to “signal” him something — apparently because I had looked in his direction. I genuinely didn’t understand what he meant and thought he might be asking if I felt unwell or needed something. I simply answered no, and tried to figure out what he means and he walked back.
My girlfriend, still smiling, Welt to him and asked him directly to clarify what he meant. He simply repeated that I had looked toward him and seemed to be signaling something — no smile, no explanation, no attempt to de-escalate or clear up the misunderstanding. It felt like he took offense at being looked at and wanted to make that known, rather than simply asking a normal, friendly question if he genuinely had one.
It was a completely unnecessary and uncomfortable moment that left a bad taste on what was supposed to be a carefree birthday celebration. A lifeguard confronting a paying guest, with zero courtesy or explanation, is simply not acceptable — especially at a venue charging premium prices.
Everything else about Portopiccolo was excellent. But this interaction cast a real shadow over what should have been a perfect day, and I hope management addresses it with their staff.

Portopiccolo的其他各方面都无可挑剔。但这次经历给本应完美的一天蒙上了阴影，我希望管理层能就此问题与员工进行沟通并加以改进。
