点评：We stayed at Thunderbird Lodge and took a 4-hour morning tour that began from there. We got to see impressive ruins and petroglyphs. The driver was knowledgeable and each time he stopped there was a shady spot to help us stay cooler. It’s a rough ride over uneven terrain but worth it, even though I was feeling the need to see a chiropractor because of it. There were a few timely bathroom breaks. The facilities didn’t all have toilet paper, but at one spot the driver provided some he had in the vehicle. Warning: Arizona is on standard time and so was my phone. However, the reservation spans parts of three states and uses daylight saving time. We were late because of that. I think they should always warn people about that discrepancy. We were told it happens all the time. You’d think that would indicate the need to communicate clearly about the issue.
