点评:I wasn't planning on writing a review until I saw this business listing. On Day 4 of our Road Scholar's "The Civil Rights Movement - Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma, Birmingham" program, the tour guide pointed out the location of the bus stop where Rosa Parks boarded the bus and made history. Later that afternoon, we visited the Rosa Parks Museum, the Civil Rights Memorial Center, and the Freedom Rides Museum. I used the free time we had on Day 5 to take a picture with Rosa Parks herself. Since I never got the opportunity to meet her in person, I settled for the next best thing. I went to Court Square, saw her, and appreciated all the work that went into her likeness. The floor plaques include the names of the four plaintiffs in the "Browder v. Gayle" bus segregation lawsuit. These four - Susie McDonald, Aurelia Browder, Claudette Colvin and Mary Louise Smith - had been arrested for the same offense that Rosa Parks got famous for months later.
So on Day 5, Jan 8, 2026, it happened. Ms. Parks was most obliging, and I got the photo to prove it. 5 stars!
