Coaster Tour of Ohio, Part 2 (Grandma's Viewpoint!)

点评：As you probably can guess, I am a relatively young grandma who still enjoys coasters (within reason)! The thrill seekers in our group loved Cedar Point with its over-the -top thrill machines (check out my review of that park as well!) This park was tailor made for an adventuresome grandma - fun but not too intense!
I first saw this park as we were driving home from the Ark and Creation Museum via a bus tour. I vowed to go back and I did! The Six Flags Ohio pass covers both CP and KI for the entire summer INCLUDING PARKING for $145. Even for a week's vacation, it was still a deal.
We stayed at the Microtel Inn only 5 minutes from the park. Was nice to be able to rest a few hours and go back in the evening.
My favorite coasters at this park? Banshee, Diamondback, and the Beast! At 1.4 miles long, the Beast is a wooden legend and really lives up to its hype! All through the woods, two chain lifts, and great tunnels. Ride at night if you can.
Banshee is a Bolliger and Mabillard inverted (aka a "foot dangler") I've ridden many inverts and this is one of the absolute best. Smooth as silk, 7 inversions, and the longest invert in the US at 4500 feet.
Diamondback is a "twin" of my home park's (Hershey) Candymonium. Both are as smooth as silk with great butt-lifting airtime. Hit these three for multiple rides!
Also rode: Orion (another 300 foot giga!) which B & M really smoothed out, The Racer (the Brady Bunch coaster, for those who remember them), Mystic Timbers (similar to Hershey's Lightning Racer), another Windseeker, another steam train, an unusual ride called Sol Spin, and a trip up a replica Eiffel Tower. Awesome fireworks and drone show ends the evening.
This beautiful park made me appreciate Hershey all the more as they are very similar. Wish Hershey had gotten a Windseeker instead of the 168 foot swing which turns my stomach. Am so glad I got to experience King's Island! Go on a weekday - late spring/early summer.

Banshee是由Bolliger and Mabillard公司制造的倒挂过山车（也就是俗称的“脚悬空型”过山车）。我坐过很多倒挂过山车，这绝对是最棒的之一。运行极为顺畅，共有7次倒挂环节，其轨道长度达4500英尺，也是美国最长的倒挂过山车。
Diamondback则与我家乡游乐园（赫希乐园）里的Candymonium属于“双胞胎”型号。两者运行同样流畅无比，还能带来令人心旷神怡的失重体验。强烈推荐多坐几次这三台过山车！
另外还坐了Orion——又是一台高度达300英尺的巨型过山车！Bolliger and Mabillard将其打造得极其顺畅。“The Racer”（对于还记得的人来说，就是《布雷迪家族》主题的过山车）、“Mystic Timbers”（类似于赫尔希乐园的“Lightning Racer”）、另一台“Windseeker”设施、另一列蒸汽火车、一个名为“Sol Spin”的独特游乐项目，还有登上埃菲尔铁塔复制品的体验。夜晚以精彩的烟花与无人机表演画上句号。
