DON'T Use these. they cant add up

点评：Unfortunately we booked with this company through our hotel, as over last few years they have always got us a good car. we was in Corfu for 2 weeks and decided to get a car from Saturday to Saturday to go to our favourite places we knew of. we were given a quote for 50 euros per day for an auto and 45 for a manual. to make life easier i opted for the auto. wow what a piece of junk that turned up, dents, scratches and inside was just as bad, back doors once opened would not close, had to take ages to refit trims in order to close the door. dash lights were flashing constantly. with all that it was reasonable to drive. then when we went out on an evening we found the main problem. non of the AC controls would work. i could not direct the airflow off the windscreen, or change the heat of the AC, only speed and on or off. with the heat and humidity the AC caused the windscreen to freeze, this meant i could not see at night and had to turn off the AC altogether and wait a good 20mins for the screen to clear, and then it would freeze up again in 5 mins. this we found out on our day 2 of having the car. the bloke who dropped it off said he had no other autos in. so i was ok to have a manual car, so we lost out on a good day out whilst he exchanged the car, but refused to compensate the difference, and refused to see me too. so we had to get the key from reception. we was not given a half decent car for our remaining time to explore the island. the AC worked and was fully controllable.
now i need to explain i asked for sat to sat to which he said 7 days, that to me was sat to sat. he then said he would extend the insurance till 9pm on the day we give it back. its important to understand we are paying for 24hr use and insurance is noted by the hour.
when i took the keys back to reception on the sat evening at 7pm, we was told we should pay for an extra day as it should have been returned on the Friday.. absolutely disgusted.
i tried to show the logical maths and how they rip you off.
11:30am pick up car on Sat.
Sat - Sun day 1
Sun - Mon day 2
Mon - Tue day 3
Tue - Wed day 4
Wed - Thur day 5
Thur - Fri day 6
Fri - Sat day 7
and he extended the last day till 9pm.
he charged me for 7 days at the auto rate that's 350 euros
on the Monday we had no use of a car for a good 1/2 day due to changing over.
the cheaper rate of 45 / day was not offered a refund.
and he wanted an extra 50 euros for the last Saturday use.
don't use these rental companies as they charge you for 7 days, don't ever want to give any money back, have cars that are too dangerous to be on the road, and only want you to have it for 6 days whilst paying for 7.
every time he was suppose to turn up at the hotel, for changing the car and picking up the manual, i asked to be called to reception to ask about getting money back, yet i was never called, either he was avoiding me or the hotel took his side and thought i was in the wrong.
Remember again. don't use these, we did find many other rentals we could have used which were offering a brand new car for the same money.
