Very good, despite cloudy night.
Kielder Observatory的点评
点评：Enjoyed our visit to the observatory. The talk was very interesting and we were lucky to have what we believed was the best order of the three breakout sessions: space rocks, telescope and finally the shop/hot chocolate. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable.
We were staying in the nearby Kielder campsite and had intended to walk or cycle... thankfully the campsite staff advised us to drive, as it was a lot further/higher than we expected. I did cycle up the next day after I had spotted some mountain bike trails on the way up.
Sadly the weather was not kind and it was a thick blanket of cloud, so no chance to see any stars. I would love to return one day for a different event on a clear night.
I've seen other visitors mentioned a discount voucher for a return visit, but we've not seen this so I don't know how you get those.
