点评：Underwhelming Quay. Certainly not worth the £18 each we paid. The place claims to be a working village, mine and craft centre. Nothing in the village was working. Absolutely nothing. There were no crafts, several doors were shut and areas roped off and the “museum” was just a bit of a display with lots of seating. The videos were all dumbed down with talking heads and I learned very little. I think even a child could be depressed here. There is so much fascinating history here, and unique survivals, but one can see it is all falling apart or becoming overgrown and will soon be lost to posterity if there isn’t some investment, of both time and money, very soon. So much is offered as included in the price of one’s ticket, but when none of it is open or functioning, one could be forgiven for considering it a bit of a con. Go to Cotehele Quay instead, is my advice.
