Totally Worth it natural history museum!
菲尔德自然史博物馆的点评
点评：Tickets were $29 here on TripAdvisor which was nice because I had some trip cash! (I’m not sponsored by TripAdvisor 😂)
Anyway! The museum itself is an extremely beautiful building, it is long with an open first floor atrium with the second floor wrapping around and looking down. If I’m completely honest I didn’t get a full scope of all of the exhibits because we didn’t spend enough time there, but that just makes it even more worth your money if you have a good half day or more to spend here!
I completely didn’t make it down to the lower level, but my friends did and they said it was pretty cool, so for that I’m sorry but I guess you’ll have to check on it yourself and report back to me.
On to the actual review:
We started walking through the Griffin Halls of Evolving Planet and SUE the T. Rex and let me tell you, that was a pretty sweet exhibit. You pretty much walking forward in time through an Emerson’s experience about life on our planet starting as far back as we can. I’m always a fan of learning so I probably spent a good hour to an hour and a half in this exhibit alone reading everything from the beginning til now. I loved seeing all of the fossils and learning about where they came from and what era/period in time they were alive in. Also, SUE is a sight to see, she a chunky diva with a smooshed face and little arms, but we love her anyway!
From there I bought the extra $18 add on to go to the Pokémon Fossil Museum and it was so cute and so worth it! Buying that also gets you an exclusive Pokémon card and access to the Pokémon fossil museum gift shop.
With all that taking up about 2 hours all I had time for was looking at all the gems, rocks and meteorites. This part of the museum is always my favorite part in any museum because I just love looking at all the cool sparkly stuff that comes from the earth somewhere.
Overall I just really loved the museum and will definitely have to go back soon to see more of it!

我们开始参观“进化的星球”展厅以及霸王龙SUE的展区。跟你们说吧，那真是个超棒的展览。你基本上就是沿着时间线向前走，体验埃默森所描述的我们星球上生命的发展历程——从最遥远的过去一直到现在。我一直都很喜欢学习，所以光是在这个展览区，我就花了大概一个小时到一个半小时的时间，从头到尾把所有内容都读了一遍。我很喜欢观赏那些化石，也乐于了解它们的来源以及它们生存于哪个时代/时期。此外，SUE也绝对值得一看——她是个身材敦实、脸庞扁平且手臂短小的“大美女”，但我们依然超爱她！
之后，我又花了18美元购买了额外门票，得以进入宝可梦化石博物馆。那里实在太可爱了，绝对物超所值！购买门票后，你还能获得一张限定的宝可梦卡片，并能进入宝可梦化石博物馆的纪念品商店。
整个过程大约需要2个小时，所以我只来得及仔细观赏那些宝石、岩石和陨石。博物馆的这个区域一直是我最喜欢的部分——我实在太喜欢欣赏那些源自地球深处的、闪闪发光的奇妙物品了。
总的来说，我真的非常喜欢这座博物馆，以后一定还要再来好好游览一番！
